SET DESIGN - cats of sunset

I was brought back to design another round of Les Chats De Sunset, All Ages Productions cat-sized cat parody of Shahs of Sunset. More miniatures, bigger sets, a wetter mess, a WEDDING, and my favorite cat-pun to date… June, 2018.

All Ages Productions had produced a successful video recapping the first season of Syfy's "The Expanse", but with only cats. It had a fun, lo-fi quality and it's no surprise other networks took notice. When Bravo approached them about a similar concept for its show, "Shahs of Sunset", I was brought on board to design the sets and props and art direct the spot; I pitched in with puppeteering and cat wrangling as well. Two types of sets were required: cat-sized sets for real cat-sized cats (the waxing salon and the modern West Coast house party) and miniature sets for establishing shots (the outside of the house and a broad 12' long LA boulevard.)
